Tea towels from Christina Weber’s Studiopatro.
Soft yet sturdy, the perfect kitchen towel to use everyday.
And not only do they make a great gift, they make an elegant gift wrap.
The shop is in a state…
There is so much to do to get the place ready for the opening of Amy Nathan’s
painting + print show this Saturday, October 2.
Clearing, cleaning and hanging, oh my!
Look for the show announcement tomorrow.
Oh and, did you know that we have the very cute West Coast denim tote from Maptotes in the shop? Turn it over and it becomes the East Coast denim tote. Neat!
Vincent Van Duysen for When Objects Work.
Ceramic bowls with oak lids. Made in Belgium.
Oven & dishwasher safe and just so lovely.
And they glow…
We’ve had beautiful vases, pitchers and cloches from Esque Studio in the
shop over the last few years, but I think their slump glass tumblers are
absolutely stunning. In orange, cranberry, cherry and smoke. $52 each.
And they’re even more luminous when the tumblers are filled. Oooo.
The original oil painting is by Berkeley artist Elena Zolotnitsky.
Classic with a twist.
And even more beautiful in person.
Frame by Barbara Anderson Gallery.
Though an errant Miltonia is blooming somewhere in the greenhouse…
Our beloved orchid is officially out-of-season.
So please give a warm welcome to the lovely and long-blooming Masdevallia.
Masdevallia’s like a damp pot and indirect light and will be happy to grow indoors or out in our temperate climate. Blooms range from bright orange to deep purple.
